Orlando is the perfect small-mid size houseboat for two couples, honeymooners, or Mum, Dad & the kids in South Australia’s beautiful Riverland.

The boat is licensed for up to six persons. There must be a minimum of two and maximum of four adults. No pets please and the vessel is smoke-free inside.

Weber Q, sun blind, rod-holders, bait board and two 50 ltr fibreglass eskies make the large rear deck ideal for fishing and alfresco dining.

The upper deck is accessed by a spiral stair and has canopy, soft-cushion chairs and recliners.

The two bedrooms have sliding glass doors to deck areas, handbasin & mirror, queen beds (1 zip-apart) and both generator & inverter power points.

New en-suite toilet/bathrooms in September 2021.

The sofa bed in the forward lounge is available to sleep kids only.

Floor to ceiling windows, for all-round river views.  

A gas space heater is movable between lounge and dining area.

Economical evaporative air conditioning.

New kitchen in July 2021 with drawer dishwasher, flatbed microwave and Nespresso pod coffee machine.

Gas cooktop/fan-forced oven and 330 l electric fridge/freezer.

Convenience of tables/chairs on front, rear and upper decks.

Extremely easy to drive.

Environmentally friendly with:

  • LED lighting throughout,
  • 4 kVA remote start-stop inverter generator,
  • solar panels to do most of the battery charging,
  • 2x low water-use marine toilets,
  • kitchen wastewater is retained. Filtered and disinfected bathroom water is returned to the river. This split-stream greywater system was pioneered on board Orlando, earning us the 2016 BIA/EPA Environment Award.


Please arrive around 1 pm for the 2.30 pm Paringa Bridge opening on your first day or, you can stay at the mooring overnight and set out next morning.

On your last day, return to the bridge at 9.30 am and then disembark back at the mooring.

Secure parking is available in a lock-up compound.
